The series is presented by Subaru Canada, supported by Yokohama Tire Canada and features a contingency program from Subaru Canada. The Canadian Association of Rallysport (CARS) is the official sanctioning body for rallying in Canada.

American rally car driver Nick Roberts chose the 2015 Rocky Mountain Rally to make his Canadian Rally Championship debut. Roberts faced many challenges at the event, including a new co-driver and writing his own pacenotes from scratch.
